1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using WordBinder, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
If you are using WordBinder on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Description of services
WordBinder provides a content operations platform for SEO teams. Features include verticalized brief generation, draft generation, content refresh detection, and internal linking suggestions. The exact features available to you depend on your subscription tier and the verticals supported at the time of access.
3. Accounts and workspace responsibilities
To use WordBinder, you create an account and one or more workspaces (called "agencies" in the application). You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Ensuring information you provide during signup and intake is accurate
- Compliance with applicable laws in your use of the service
You may not share your account with users outside your workspace seat allocation. Each user must have their own login.
4. Site verification and crawl rights
You may only add sites to WordBinder that you own or have authorization to modify and represent. We require domain verification before performing any meaningful crawl, to prevent abuse against sites you do not control.
You agree not to:
- Add sites you do not own or have authorization for
- Use the verification process to bypass any other site's controls
- Configure WordBinder in a way that would cause excessive load on a third party's infrastructure
Violation of this section is grounds for immediate account termination.
5. Subscription, billing, and refunds
WordBinder is sold as monthly subscriptions. Pricing tiers are described on our pricing page.
By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges to your payment method via Stripe. Charges occur on the same day each month based on your initial subscription date.
You may cancel anytime through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months.
Free trials, when offered, do not require a payment method. At trial end, you choose to subscribe or your account becomes inactive.
If we change pricing for your subscription tier, we will provide at least 30 days' notice. Existing customers retain their current pricing for at least 12 months from any announced change unless you change tiers.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use WordBinder to:
- Generate content for sites you do not own or have authorization to modify
- Generate content that violates third-party intellectual property, defamation laws, or applicable advertising regulations
- Generate content intended to mislead, defraud, or harm others
- Bypass usage limits, rate limits, or other technical controls
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service
- Resell or redistribute the service without our written authorization
- Interfere with the operation of the service or other customers' use of it
7. Content you provide and content we generate
You retain all ownership of the content you provide to WordBinder (intake answers, brand voice notes, manually-edited briefs and drafts) and the content WordBinder generates for you (briefs, drafts, refresh recommendations, link suggestions).
You grant WordBinder a limited license to use your provided content solely to operate the service for you — generating briefs, processing crawls, computing embeddings, and similar.
You are responsible for the final review of generated content before publishing. Generated drafts include verification flags where customer-specific facts are needed; you are responsible for filling in or correcting those facts. We do not guarantee the accuracy, fitness for purpose, or compliance of generated content.
For regulated verticals (medical, legal, financial), you are responsible for compliance review against the relevant regulatory framework before publishing. WordBinder's vertical skills apply conservative defaults but are not a substitute for compliance counsel.
8. Intellectual property
WordBinder, including the application, the per-vertical skills, the user interface, and all related materials, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service in accordance with these Terms.
Our trademarks and brand identity may not be used without prior written consent.
9. Third-party services
WordBinder integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payments), Anthropic (Claude API for generation), DataForSEO (SERP and rank data), and Mailjet (email). Your use of WordBinder is also subject to those services' respective terms where applicable.
10. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the service in a way that we reasonably believe poses risk to other users, third parties, or the integrity of the service.
On termination, you have 30 days to export your data. After that period, we may permanently delete your account and associated data, except where retention is required by law.
11. Disclaimers
WordBinder is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the service, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that:
- The service will meet all your requirements

12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WordBinder shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold WordBinder harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the service in violation of these Terms or applicable law
- Content you publish based on output from WordBinder
- Your addition of sites to WordBinder that you did not have authorization to add
- Your violation of any third-party rights
14. Dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [TBD], United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in [TBD County, State], and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through the application before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
